There are lots of volunteering opportunities with Padley.
Newsletter and Marketing
A volunteer who is good at design, layout and writing is needed to put together our Newsletter on a bi-monthly basis. We also need help to design and produce leaflets and other marketing materials.
We have an ambitious events programme and need individuals or teams to help out both on the day and in organising the events. See our Fundraising page
for more details.
We need volunteer drivers to drive our van in the local area to collect textiles, bric a brac and food. You must be over 25, have a clean driving licence and be in good health. Weekdays only.
We need classroom assistants to aid our Arts & Crafts, Pottery, Woodwork and Cookery Tutors in ensuring that all of our clients with learning difficulties or mental health problems achieve their full potential. Opportunities are available most weekdays.
We also need volunteers to help prepare and serve food in our Bistro - Monday to Friday.
We are also seeking volunteer guest tutors to deliver ad-hoc short courses such as flower arranging, jewellery making and bicycle maintenance, etc.
Our Day Centre couldn't operate without volunteers. We need people with a caring and non-judgemental approach who are able to give us a few hours each week to help out with jobs such as the preparation and serving of food, washing up, day to day conversation with clients, helping on the door etc. We also need volunteers to run activities, so if you have a talent you can share, please contact us.
These volunteering opportunities are available 7 days a week.
Shop / Recycling
We always need volunteers in our Charity Shop for merchandising and sales activities.
Opportunities available Monday to Saturday.
If you are interested in any of the above volunteering opportunities, please contact Kerry on 01332 774480 or complete the PADLEY-VOLUNTEER-APPLICATION
